Position of the Entrepreneurship Council on the Act on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine

Let’s build together, not destroy!

The Entrepreneurship Council  has received with concern the decision to veto the amendment of the act regulating the status of Ukrainian citizens in Poland. We are aware that this is a socially and politically sensitive area, but for the Polish economy, it is of key importance to regulate this matter quickly and responsibly. In the face of the current situation, we appeal for urgent dialogue and the development of stable solutions in three fundamental areas: regulation of residence rules, regulation of access to the labor market, and rational access to social benefits.

ABSL Poland, as an organization representing a sector that employs tens of thousands of people, including Ukrainian citizens, calls for swift legislative action and constructive dialogue between the government, parliament, and the president. Regulatory stability regarding residence, work, and social benefits is in the interest of the entire Polish economy.
